Missions...
At Marion Oaks Assembly of God we believe that missions is
God's heartbeat. We strongly support missions in many
different ways. Currently we financially
support thirty one foreign missionaries, seven home
missionaries, a church in Jamaica, and an orphange in India.
June 2006, we had twelve members of our congregation go to
the Dominican Republic. We spent seven days there doing
street ministry, painting a nursing home, ministering to
the patients of the nursing home, teaching in the Bible
school, painting the offices at the Bible school, and speaking in
local churches.
July 2008 we had a team of 13 go to Opelika, Alabama for a home
missions trip.
In the fall, we sponsor a Harvest Festival to help raise money
for our missions projects. In March we host a missions
banquet.
